Desktop wallet status

Planned

The Monolythium desktop wallet remains preview-stage software. Repository artifacts or GitHub releases may support development evaluation, but this page does not certify a notarized, platform-signed, auto-updating production wallet for macOS, Windows, or Linux.

Do not infer chain I/O, custody-grade key storage, hardware signing, value transfer, name registration, private-denomination support, or feature parity with the browser and Android wallets from a desktop scaffold or preview binary.

Before a public install guide is released, every supported platform must publish an exact artifact digest and publisher identity, documented OS support, key-custody and recovery behavior, network/genesis verification, update and rollback policy, and independent security evidence.

If you evaluate a repository preview, use an isolated value-less test environment and verify its release metadata at the source. Do not import a primary recovery phrase, reuse production credentials, or assume a preview label makes an artifact safe for custody.

Stele is retired from the intended desktop product. That is a release direction, not proof that every existing binary has already been reconciled: older or current unreconciled preview builds may still retain a gated legacy Stele surface. Verify the exact installed version, its release notes, and the UI you can actually inspect; installed-release evidence is authoritative for whether that artifact still contains the legacy surface.

Do not use a legacy desktop Stele view as the supported product. Stele’s standalone public-web preview is available at stele.monolythium.com.
