Governance — no on-chain
Monolythium has no on-chain governance. There is no voting module, no proposal lifecycle, no quorum threshold, no memo-field signal layer. The retired governance surface exists only to refuse calls.
The Foundation stewards the release. Community discussion happens off-chain. Forking is the intended exit principle, but mono-core is internal and unpublished, so the public cannot exercise an implementation fork today. See Fork as exit.
What “the Foundation decides” means here
Section titled “What “the Foundation decides” means here”The bounded public claim is that Foundation stewardship, rather than an on-chain proposal/vote module, controls release decisions. These docs do not publish or certify Foundation membership, signer identities, multisig thresholds, reserved-name custody topology, emergency-declaration authority, or a cryptographic ratification process. Do not infer those controls from historical drafts.
Current release posture is communicated through the chain registry, exact artifact metadata, release notes, the feature and design list, and explicit status pages. The historical whitepaper is not a current authority source, and public core-source review is not available.
Off-chain feedback boundary
Section titled “Off-chain feedback boundary”The chain has no signal layer. This page does not certify a forum, mailing list, lobbying route, operator channel, bounty process, polling site, Snapshot integration, or governance dashboard. Use only the contact or issue route published by the exact repository or artifact you are evaluating; security reports follow the separate published security policy.
What this means for you
Section titled “What this means for you”- User — nothing changes in your wallet. No proposal queue, no voting tab. You hold LYTH, you use the chain, you read published release notes.
- Operator — no tally service to run, no vote transactions to validate.
- Integrator — no proposal lifecycle to track. Surface changes land through release notes and the feature and design list with advance warning.
- Researcher — use this current release-status page and Diligence for the active statement; the v5 whitepaper is archived history only.
