Agent commerce
Monolythium’s agent-commerce thesis combines delegated identity, discovery, consent, attestations, availability, reputation, escrow with arbiters, and consensus-enforced spending policy.
That composition is a design direction, not a live end-to-end economic product. Stele’s public-web preview is hosted at stele.monolythium.com with public discovery and durable private provider-listing drafts, the live keyless hosted OAuth MCP adds search plus a fail-closed booking-approval draft tool and uses authenticated runtime discovery for its inventory, and the local exact-three MCP prerelease provides read/status access. Production currently has 0 published services, so the hosted booking tool cannot return a successful booking-approval draft. Provider publication, provider delivery, booking, escrow, payment, dispute, review, agent-wallet custody, and policy-controlled execution remain unavailable until separately released.
The key safety rule is that an agent cannot enforce its own limits. Any future economic flow needs a dedicated key, protocol-side policy, fresh reads and simulation, exact intent binding, human-appropriate approval, and durable receipt reconciliation.
