Stele web + MCP status
Stele is a standalone public web application, not a wallet plugin or custody service. Its public-web preview is available at stele.monolythium.com, and its hosted MCP is live at https://stele.monolythium.com/mcp.
The web Provider listing Studio is a private wallet-owned workspace. It can create, edit, preview, and delete durable provider-listing drafts without publishing them or creating a transaction. Those records remain outside the public catalog, which still contains 0 published services.
The hosted and local MCP surfaces are deliberately separate:
- The hosted Stele MCP is keyless and OAuth protected. Its authenticated
tools/listresponse is authoritative for the runtime inventory. The deployedstele_search_servicesandstele_create_booking_draftoperations provide public-catalog search and a fail-closed booking-approval draft. Real Codex and Claude Code search calls have passed on the public deployment. Production currently has 0 published services, so the booking tool cannot return a successful booking-approval draft. If a listing is published later, its booking-approval draft is short-lived, nonbinding, and non-economic; it returns a human-review URL and cannot approve, contact a provider, sign, submit, broadcast, pay, reserve service, or lock funds. Booking-draft creation fails closed unless the durable backend and release-readiness gate are healthy. - The local
lyth_mcpStele profile is available in thev0.1.0GitHub prerelease with exactly three read/status tools:stele_connection_status,stele_search_services, andstele_agent_wallet_status. The local profile has no key access, signing, transaction preparation, submission, booking, payment, escrow, dispute, or review authority.
Only when the authenticated tools/list response includes the exact stele_create_provider_listing_draft name may a client call that tool. Each successful create operation produces exactly one new private, wallet-owned, unpublished provider-listing draft. An idempotent replay returns that same draft without creating another. If the name is absent, the operation is unavailable. It is create-only: it cannot list, read, update, delete, or publish an existing draft, and it cannot sign, submit, or settle a transaction. Private provider-listing drafts do not satisfy the hosted booking tool’s published-listing prerequisite.
Any future local economic profile would require a separately released dedicated-wallet and protocol policy design; it is not part of the exact-three profile and this page provides no setup or transaction procedure. Hosted OAuth and the public SDK do not confer wallet custody or transaction authority.
