Hardware sovereignty (Monarch OS)
Unavailable
Monarch OS is a planned node-appliance design intended to reduce dependence on a general-purpose host and make the software supply chain easier to verify. No public production image, operator enrollment path, or independently certified hardening profile is available today.
Intended properties
Section titled “Intended properties”- immutable, versioned system images;
- authenticated, human-approved administration;
- minimal runtime and exposed services;
- release provenance and dependency inventory;
- measured upgrade and recovery paths; and
- separation between node operations and consumer wallets.
These are evaluation criteria, not shipped guarantees. A future release must provide signed artifacts, reproducible configuration, a threat model, independent review, a supported-hardware matrix, and operational evidence before the design can be treated as a production control.
The registered development-testnet profile remains Foundation operated, value-less, and resettable; current endpoint liveness is reported separately. See Monarch OS tooling status.
