Hardware-appliance evaluation

Planned

Monarch OS is operator-oriented appliance work. This page does not recommend or certify it as an exchange deposit watcher, withdrawal signer, key vault, webhook service, or custody boundary. No real-funds exchange deployment should be inferred from a Talos base, immutable image, TPM, kernel configuration, or signed artifact alone.

An institutional appliance requires a scoped threat model; exact reproducible images; measured boot and key-sealing design; supply-chain attestations; administrative and recovery controls; signer isolation; independent penetration testing; hardware lifecycle planning; and integration-specific certification. Verify every artifact and claim against the exact release rather than historical whitepaper prose.

Keep exchange signing and withdrawals disabled on the development testnet.
