This policy covers the Monolythium MetaMask Snap, a plugin that runs inside the MetaMask browser extension to add Monolythium (Cosmos SDK) account support.

Data We Collect​

None. The MetaMask Snap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Data We Do NOT Collect​

  • Private keys or seed phrases (managed entirely by MetaMask)
  • Wallet addresses or balances
  • Transaction history
  • Personal information of any kind
  • Analytics, telemetry, or usage metrics

How the Snap Works​

The Monolythium MetaMask Snap runs inside MetaMask's sandboxed execution environment (Secure EcmaScript / SES). This means:

  • No persistent storage — The Snap does not maintain its own data store. Any derived keys or account information exist only within MetaMask's internal state.
  • No direct network calls — The Snap does not make network requests on its own. All blockchain communication is handled through MetaMask's built-in RPC provider.
  • No file system access — The Snap cannot read or write files on your device.
  • No cross-extension communication — The Snap cannot access data from other extensions or browser tabs.

Network Requests​

The Snap itself makes no network requests. All blockchain queries and transaction broadcasts are routed through MetaMask's own RPC infrastructure, which is governed by MetaMask's privacy policy.

Third-Party Services​

None. The Snap does not integrate with any third-party services. MetaMask itself is a third-party product governed by ConsenSys/MetaMask's own privacy policy and terms of service.

Permissions​

The Snap requests only the MetaMask Snap permissions necessary for Cosmos account derivation. It does not request access to Ethereum accounts, transaction signing for EVM chains, or any browser permissions.

Data Retention​

The Snap does not store data independently. Uninstalling the Snap from MetaMask removes all associated state.

Children's Privacy​

The Monolythium MetaMask Snap is not directed to children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
