Airdrop

The Monolythium Airdrop distributes LYTH tokens to eligible participants at mainnet launch. Eligibility is based on a combination of Cosmos ecosystem activity, EVM DeFi usage, and mandatory testnet task completion.

Eligibility Overview

To qualify for the airdrop, you must meet both of the following:

  1. Snapshot criteria -- Activity in the Cosmos or EVM ecosystems captured during the snapshot window
  2. Testnet tasks -- 4 mandatory on-chain actions on Monolythium Testnet

Meeting the snapshot criteria alone is not sufficient. You must also complete the testnet tasks to activate your claim.

Cosmos Snapshot Criteria

The Cosmos snapshot captures active participants across the Cosmos ecosystem. Qualifying activities include:

ATOM Stakers

RequirementDetail
TokenATOM (Cosmos Hub)
Minimum stake10 ATOM delegated to any active validator
Snapshot timingCaptured at an unannounced block height
ExclusionsExchange-custodied ATOM does not count

Osmosis Liquidity Providers

RequirementDetail
PlatformOsmosis DEX
Qualifying poolsAny active LP position at snapshot
Minimum value$50 USD equivalent in pool assets
Bonded LPsBonded (locked) positions receive a 1.5x multiplier

Governance Voters

RequirementDetail
ChainsCosmos Hub, Osmosis, or any IBC-connected chain
ActivityVoted on at least 1 governance proposal in the past 6 months
Vote typeYes, No, Abstain, and NoWithVeto all qualify
Snapshot Timing

The exact snapshot block heights are not announced in advance to prevent gaming. They are revealed after the snapshot is taken.

EVM Snapshot Criteria

The EVM snapshot targets active DeFi users across 6 chains where MonoHub contracts are deployed.

Qualifying Chains

ChainChain IDWhat Qualifies
Avalanche43114DEX trades, LP positions, lending/borrowing
Linea59144DEX trades, bridge activity, LP positions
Sei1329DEX trades, staking, LP positions
Cronos25DEX trades, LP positions, yield farming
Kava2222Lending, LP positions, staking

Requirements

RequirementDetail
Minimum activityAt least 5 DeFi transactions on any qualifying chain
Time windowActivity within the 6 months preceding the snapshot
Wallet typeMust be an EOA (externally owned account), not a contract
Multi-chain bonusActive on 3+ chains: 1.25x multiplier; 5+ chains: 1.5x multiplier

Testnet Tasks (Mandatory)

Regardless of snapshot eligibility, all claimants must complete these 4 tasks on Monolythium Testnet (Chain ID: 6940):

#TaskHow to CompleteVerification
1Connect walletVisit monohub.xyz and sign a wallet connectionOn-chain signature
2Claim faucetRequest testnet LYTH from the faucetFaucet transaction
3Execute a swapSwap any token pair on MonoSwapSwap event on-chain
4Stake LYTHDelegate any amount of LYTH to a validatorDelegate message on-chain

These tasks are the same as Phases 1-3 of the Quest Guide. If you have completed those phases, your testnet tasks are already done.

Testnet Tasks Are Required

Snapshot eligibility alone does not activate your airdrop claim. You must complete all 4 testnet tasks before the claim deadline. There are no exceptions.

Vesting Schedule

Airdrop tokens are distributed on a vesting schedule to prevent immediate sell pressure and reward long-term holders.

How Vesting Works

  • At claim opening, 15% of your allocation is immediately transferable
  • The remaining 85% vests linearly -- each day for 90 days, approximately 0.94% of your total allocation becomes claimable
  • You can claim accumulated vested tokens at any time (no need to claim daily)
  • Unclaimed tokens remain in the vesting contract until you claim them -- they do not expire

Unclaimed tokens (including unvested amounts not yet claimed) are reclaimed by the protocol treasury 180 days after the claim opens. Do not wait until the last minute.

Allocation Multipliers

Certain activities increase your base allocation:

MultiplierConditionEffect
1.25xActive on 3+ EVM chains25% bonus on base allocation
1.5xActive on 5+ EVM chains50% bonus on base allocation
1.5xBonded Osmosis LP50% bonus on Cosmos allocation
2xCompleted all 5 campaign phasesDouble your base allocation
1.5xStaking multiplier (restaked within 48h)See Staking Bonus

Multipliers stack multiplicatively. For example, a user with 5+ EVM chains (1.5x) and all 5 campaign phases (2x) receives 3x their base allocation.

Checking Eligibility

After the snapshot is revealed at mainnet launch:

  1. Visit monohub.xyz/airdrop
  2. Connect your wallet
  3. The eligibility checker shows your qualifying criteria, multipliers, and estimated allocation
  4. Complete any remaining testnet tasks if needed
  5. Claim your tokens once the claim period opens

FAQ

Can I qualify with multiple wallets?

Each wallet is evaluated independently. You cannot combine activity from multiple wallets into a single claim.

Do exchange wallets qualify?

No. Tokens held on centralized exchanges do not count for any snapshot criteria. You must use a self-custodied wallet (MetaMask, Keplr, Leap, etc.).

What if I completed testnet tasks but do not meet any snapshot criteria?

You do not qualify for the airdrop. Both components are required.

Is the airdrop available in all jurisdictions?

The airdrop is subject to geographic restrictions. See Terms of Service for details.

Will there be more airdrops?

This is the genesis airdrop. Future distribution events will be announced separately if they occur.
