Privacy Policy — MonoPlay

This policy covers the MonoPlay platform, which consists of two products:

  • MonoPlay Storefront — A Next.js web application for browsing games.
  • MonoPlay Launcher — A Tauri 2 desktop application for managing and launching games.

Data We Collect​

None. MonoPlay does not collect any personal data.

Data We Do NOT Collect​

  • User accounts or login credentials
  • Email addresses or personal information
  • Browsing or purchasing behavior
  • Analytics, telemetry, or usage metrics
  • Cookies or tracking identifiers

Data Stored Locally​

MonoPlay Storefront​

The storefront is a static web application that renders game listings. No data is stored in the browser beyond standard page caching.

MonoPlay Launcher​

The launcher stores the following data locally on your device:

  • Game library — A list of games you have added or installed.
  • License tokens — On-chain license proofs stored locally for offline verification.
  • Application settings — Display preferences and configuration.

This data is stored in the standard Tauri application data directory on your OS. It is never transmitted to Mono Labs servers or any third party.

No analytics or tracking requests are made.

Third-Party Services​

None. MonoPlay does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data processing services.

Data Retention​

All data is stored locally on your device and persists until you:

  • Uninstall the MonoPlay Launcher
  • Manually clear application data
  • Remove games from your library within the app

Mono Labs has no ability to access, modify, or delete your local data.

Children's Privacy​

MonoPlay does not collect data from any users, including children. Individual games available through MonoPlay may have their own age ratings and terms.

Changes to This Policy​

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
