Staking LYTH
This is a quick guide for users who want to stake LYTH. For comprehensive staking information, see Staking Overview.
Quick Start
- Get a wallet - Monolythium Browser Wallet, Keplr, or Leap
- Add Monolythium - Configure your wallet for the network (pre-configured in Monolythium Browser Wallet)
- Fund your wallet - Transfer or receive LYTH
- Choose a validator - Review the validator list
- Delegate - Stake your LYTH
!!! important "MetaMask Cannot Stake" Staking is a Cosmos-native operation. Use the Monolythium Browser Wallet, Keplr, or Leap — not MetaMask.
Staking via Monolythium Browser Wallet or Keplr
- Open the Monolythium Browser Wallet or Keplr extension
- Select Monolythium network
- Click Stake
- Browse validators
- Select a validator and click Delegate
- Enter amount
- Confirm transaction
Claiming Rewards
Rewards must be claimed manually:
- Open the Monolythium Browser Wallet or Keplr
- Go to staking section
- Click Claim Rewards
- Confirm transaction
Unstaking
When you undelegate:
- Tokens enter a 3-day unbonding period
- No rewards during unbonding
- Tokens become available after 3 days
