Trust Wallet Setup (EVM)

This guide explains how to add Monolythium networks to Trust Wallet as custom EVM networks.

What Trust Wallet Supports on Monolythium

Trust Wallet can connect to Monolythium using the EVM JSON-RPC interface. This allows you to:

  • Send and receive LYTH
  • View token balances
  • Connect to EVM-compatible dApps
  • Interact with smart contracts

Important: Trust Wallet operates as an EVM wallet on Monolythium. For Cosmos-native features like staking and governance, use Keplr or Leap Wallet.

Before You Start

Before adding a custom network:

  1. Only use trusted RPC endpoints - Use official Monolythium endpoints or run your own node
  2. Verify chain parameters - Confirm Chain ID and explorer URL from official sources
  3. Start with Testnet - Test transactions on Testnet before using Mainnet

Add a Custom Network

To add Monolythium as a custom network in Trust Wallet:

  1. Open Trust Wallet
  2. Tap the Settings icon (gear)
  3. Select Network or Manage Networks
  4. Tap Add Custom Network
  5. Fill in the network details:
FieldDescription
Network Namee.g., "Monolythium Mainnet"
RPC URLThe EVM JSON-RPC endpoint
Chain IDEVM chain ID (see table below)
SymbolLYTH
Block Explorer URL(Optional) Explorer URL for viewing transactions
  1. Tap Save or Add Network

Network Parameters

Use these parameters for each network:

Note: Replace placeholder URLs with official endpoints from the Resources section.

Using Trust Wallet

Sending LYTH

  1. Select the Monolythium network from your wallet
  2. Tap Send
  3. Enter the recipient's 0x... address
  4. Enter the amount in LYTH
  5. Review the transaction and gas fee
  6. Confirm and sign the transaction

Receiving LYTH

  1. Select the Monolythium network
  2. Tap Receive
  3. Copy your 0x... address or share the QR code
  4. Provide this address to the sender

Viewing Balances

Your LYTH balance appears automatically once the network is added and synced. If the balance doesn't appear:

  • Ensure you're on the correct network
  • Pull down to refresh
  • Check the RPC endpoint is accessible

Connecting to dApps

Trust Wallet can connect to EVM-compatible dApps on Monolythium:

  1. Open the dApp in Trust Wallet's browser (or use WalletConnect)
  2. Ensure you're connected to the Monolythium network
  3. Approve the connection request
  4. Sign transactions as prompted

Tokens

Adding Custom Tokens

To add ERC-20 compatible tokens deployed on Monolythium:

  1. Tap Add Token or the + icon
  2. Select Custom Token
  3. Ensure you're on the Monolythium network
  4. Enter the token contract address
  5. The symbol, name, and decimals should auto-fill
  6. Tap Save

Tip: Only add tokens from verified sources. Always double-check contract addresses.

Troubleshooting

Network Not Appearing

  • Verify you saved the network correctly
  • Check that Chain ID matches exactly (262146/262147/262148)
  • Restart Trust Wallet

Wrong Chain ID Error

If you see "Chain ID mismatch" or similar:

  • The RPC endpoint may be for a different network
  • Double-check the Chain ID matches the network you're connecting to:
    • Sprintnet: 262146
    • Testnet: 262147
    • Mainnet: 262148

Balance Not Showing

  • Confirm you're on the correct network
  • Verify the RPC endpoint is working (try in a browser)
  • Pull down to refresh the wallet
  • Check if your address has funds using the block explorer

Transaction Stuck or Failed

  • Ensure you have enough LYTH for gas fees
  • Try increasing the gas price
  • Verify the RPC endpoint is responsive
  • Check network status on official channels
  • Verify the explorer URL is correct
  • The explorer may be temporarily unavailable
  • Try the official explorer directly in your browser

Address Format

Trust Wallet uses EVM addresses (0x... format). These represent the same account as the Cosmos mono1... format:

FormatExample
EVM (Trust Wallet)0x1234...abcd
Cosmos (Keplr)mono1zg69g5...

Both formats control the same funds. You can receive LYTH sent to either address format.
